This is a short video on how to open the Tiger 1 tank. Please excuse the auto focus. The steps are as follows:
1. Remove the air filter hoses and push the plastic pieces connected to the airbox facing back or up.
2. Locate and press lever on back driver side of tank, just above the track.
3. Keep the lever held while you lift on the upper hull from the sides. Do not lift from the turret as you may damage your tank.
4. Enjoy!

Here is a video on how to adjust your contact switch in our Taigen airsoft tanks. The contact switch is used by the airsoft unit to send a signal to the motherboard to trigger a track recoil and cannon sound. Sometimes it can get stuck either two close together or too far apart. If they are too close then you will get a rapid firing and recoiling action on your tank non-stop. If it is too far apart you will get no or intermittent recoil when you fire. It is very easy to adjust them, you only have to open the top hull and look at the bottom of the airsoft unit. Check the video for more clear instructions and tips.

This is a quick unboxing of the Taigen Tiger 1 tank, TAG12022. This is an airsoft 1/16th scale tank with a metal chassis, but plastic drive components. It is a great starter tank to build upon as it does have the metal chassis of the metal version tanks. In fact, the plastic Tigers are my preferred choice for inside activities. They are light and very quick! This tank comes with 3:1 zinc alloy gearboxes, 2000mAh battery and charger, and is RTR right out of the box!
